Overload Protocol is a dice-combat roguelite built for your phone. Bad rolls happen, use in game resources and items to make sure you course correct. Command a squad of three specialists, roll real physics dice, and bend the results turn by turn through 10 encounters and a boss.

🎲 Real physics dice: they tumble, they settle, and when fate rolls a 3, you make it an 11.

⚔️ 8 specialists, 38 unique enemies, 50 encounters: and 90+ relics, gear, and consumables to build around.

📱 Zero install: plays in any browser, portrait-first for your phone. Desktop works too.

How to play: take the tutorial on first launch (~3 minutes). Long-press almost anything for the full breakdown. The ? button holds the complete encyclopedia.

📱 iPhone: for fullscreen, open in Safari → tap the Share button → Add to Home Screen → launch from the icon. Runs like an app, no browser bars.

Where this demo is at: early build from a solo dev who has had this idea for years but is just now capable of putting it together.  The gameplay loop came first: 50 authored encounters against 38 unique enemies, presentation polish still underway. Balance has had its first full pass and tuning is ongoing. Inspired by the dice-bending of Dicey Dungeons and Slice & Dice with Slay the Spire's run structure among many other games.

FEEDBACK button's on the main menu — blunt beats polite.

Good to know:

  • ~100 MB, first load takes a minute, cached after
  • Sound may start after your first tap (browser rule, not a bug)
  • Found a bug? Include the version number from the menu corner

So issue. Im on the tutorial and there is this.

I have absolutely no idea what it wants me to do. I click the die and nothing happens and I see no drone. Im not saying the game is bad at all but I defintally need some clarity. Also, if your okay with it, I recorded this game for my youtube channel so if you want, I can send you the link to my YouTube video.
